Associate Photographer, Kelsey
Since I was a child, I've loved stories. I enjoy telling them and especially hearing them. I fell in love with photography when I was in high school upon the realization that stories can also be seen. With my camera, I learned I was able to make memories and provoke a story out of something that seemed ordinary.
I began my career as a self-taught professional photographer as a high school graduate and have been blessed to capture stories for families in Kentucky ever since. Here are some fun-facts about me:
-I'm Kentucky born and raised! I grew up in Winchester with my mom, dad, and older sister.
-I love animals of every kind. I now have a one-year-old puppy named Mika.
-I attended Morehead State University to study special education and later Bluegrass Community Technical College to study journalism.
-I'm a musical nerd.
-I love using photography to raise awareness for issues close to my heart, especially childhood cancer and organ donation. I'm a proud living kidney donor, having given my kidney to my friend in 2014. We named that kidney John F Kidney. :-)
-I love meeting new people!
I look forward to getting to know more families through my photography and I can't wait to see where this adventure takes me!
